Volunteers Needed

Hello, You are receiving this email because during the registration of your child you offered your help to the Soccer Chaleur club and for that we are grateful! We are looking for 2 parents per team to act as a monitor/coach for our mini program.

Petit-Rocher needs:

  • U-6: 10 Bénévoles
  • U-8: 8 Bénévoles
  • U-11: 8 Bénévoles

Bathurst needs:

  • U-6: 6 Volunteers
  • U-8: 6 Volunteers
  • U-11: 4 Volunteers

The tasks consist of staying with the group during practices to help students with the group (explanation, discipline and other). During games, make changes and encourage the team players. For those who would like to improve knowledge in youth coaching, Soccer New Brunswick will offer the GPS program. The Grassroots Passion for Soccer (GPS) program is designed to offer, free of charge, 2-hour coaching workshops to introduce soccer coaching to volunteer parent coaches working with young players (3 to 10 years).

GPS is tailored to meet the coach’s needs and expectations in terms of the tools provided and also the availability of the large number of coaches volunteering with clubs across the province. It represents a great opportunity to help the coaches and players enjoy their soccer experiences. The GPS is an opportunity for the coaches to get familiar with the LTPD (Long Term Player Development) model and the NCCP (National Coaches Certification Program) contents.

This session will be held on Monday June 3rd at the Sportplexe Nigadoo between 18h and 20h. Please confirm by email ([email protected]) if you are interested in being a coach / monitor for the mini program and would like to participate in the GPS program on Monday, June 3rd!
