The tryouts are open to all players of the ages concerned at will take place at the Petit-Rocher Turf. The price for registrations once players make one of these teams will between $ 200 and $ 250 which will include a jersey that the players can keep afterwards. It should be noted that those who are currently registered for the practices will have the total already paid, subtracted from the total cost.

Once formed the teams will participate in the provincial league which includes the clubs in the 4 corners of the province. League administration is planning between 9 and 12 games between July 25 and August 30. In our situation the games will mainly be the weekends. Unfortunately, we don't have more information for our U12 groups and AA teams at this time. The practices will continue as usual for at least the next 2 weeks.

So that it will not be as long when you get to the field. If you are not currently registered in one of our programs and your child wants to participate in these tryouts, please send us: Name, date of birth, your email and telephone number. At [email protected]

U8 Trial group

Here is the link to complete the U8 trial group registration. We will take the first 10 registrations. You will have a confirmation in the following days confirming that your child has a spot in the group. Even if you have completed registration it does not mean that you were in the first 10

Volunteers needed

In anticipation of the creation of teams, the Chaleur Soccer club is looking for volunteers.

We currently have coaches and assistants for the AAA U13 girls and boys and U15 boys teams.

We are missing coaches and assistants for the U12 girls and boys teams, also for the U18 girls team. It should be noted that for the moment there is not enough interest in the U15 girls and U18 boys groups. Please send us a message if your child is interested in any of these groups.

Also, when the teams will be made, we plan to increase the number of practices to 2 times per week for U12 teams and up. We will then need volunteers as field manager and at the reception. These positions require no knowledge of soccer.

If you are interested, please email us at [email protected]

Last night the Executive Committee of the Chaleur Soccer club met in anticipation of phase 3 and to see the possibility of adding a U8 group.

As a result of this meeting, on July 16th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. we will offer a free experimental practice for 10 players of age U8 (2012-2013). Following this practice, we will decide if we add another U8 group and if we continue the program. So, Tuesday July 7th 10 am, a link to a form will be placed on our Facebook page and our website. The first 10 registrations will be accepted only. You will receive a confirmation after that your child is indeed part of 10 players in the experimental group.

For the U10 group starting July 16th, practices will be from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m, this change will then be for the remainder of the summer, always at the Petit-Rocher fields.

We will post more information for the tryouts of competitive teams U12, U13, U15, U18 as soon as we have confirmation that the leagues will go forward.

Phase 3 / Games / Leagues

Hello, We are aware that many players have chosen to take a break from soccer this summer for different reasons. The most common being that there were no games guaranteed.

We would like to know, with the possibility of the return of games / leagues starting July 11th, who would be interested in registering. If you or your child are interested in playing when there is games / leagues and are NOT yet registered, please send us by private Facebook message or email [email protected] the name of your child, email and year of birth. The games would be for players of competitive teams born between 2009 and 2002.

The interest in the different age groups will help us greatly so that we can prepare for the next phase.

Thank you

Return to play Plan

Update Summer 2020

The New Brunswick government has pushed back the date for returning to play by a week, so June 5th. However, after our discussions with the municipalities, it is very likely that public facilities such as the soccer fields will not be reopened at that time. We must therefore be patient for our return to play.

This being said, our registrations will not be open tomorrow June 1st as planned, they will be available as soon as we can return to play and the fields will be reopened

Summer Season 2020

Important message for the summer 2020 soccer season

* Please read the entire message before sending us your questions

The Executive Committee of the Chaleur Soccer Club met on Monday May 25th to put in place a return to play plan that will meet the standards that will be implemented by the government entities, Soccer NB and Soccer Canada. When the New Brunswick government announces a return to low-contact team sports, our plan can get underway. First of all, it should be noted that soccer is a contact sport, which means that certain aspects will have to be modified:

  • There will be no direct confrontations or games until further notice, this may change during the summer season.
  • The players will have to follow the rules of physical distancing and the other rules put in place to keep all our members healthy.

The sessions will be based on the practice of individual skills such as: passing, dripping, juggling and other games that meet the standards in place.

Here is what we are planning, if the government gives us the green light this Friday May 29th as anticipated, a start for the season would be the week of June 15th for the following age groups: U10, U13, U15 and U18 girls and boys. If all goes well, we may add the U8 group later in the summer. U10 groups will be limited to 10 players per group and the others to 19. For now, we do not plan to add groups U6 and U4 due to the physical distancing restrictions which are more difficult to follow in these age groups.

In this situation, registrations would start on June 1st on our website, no paper or direct registration on the field will be accepted. Each group will practice once a week at 1 hour per session. As the number of places per group is limited, places will be first come, first served.

We are aware that all players want to play games. If a scenario occurs that competitive AA and AAA leagues can start, the players already registered will be selected to create the teams.

We will have a lot of information to send you in the coming weeks, please follow our Facebook page and our website for the latest updates.
